Before you scan
Is the analysis a diagnosis?
No. It measures what a camera can see and turns it into scores. Anything that needs an examination, a mole, a rash, a lesion, is a doctor's call, not a camera's.
What happens to my photo?
It is analysed and discarded. The scores are saved to your profile so you can compare later; the image itself is not kept.
Do I need makeup off?
It helps. Foundation and concealer flatten texture and hide redness, which is exactly what the scoring is looking for.
Why is the first one free?
Because the report is only useful if you actually run it. The first scan on an account is free, no card involved.
Can I take the result to my own doctor?
Yes. Download it from your profile, or attach it to the questionnaire and it goes to whichever BluDerma doctor you book.
