Overview

AestheFill is a poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microsphere collagen stimulator from Korean manufacturer REGEN Biotech. Its sponge-like porous microspheres allow new collagen to form both around and within each particle, driving progressive, natural rejuvenation. The powder requires only a short reconstitution and comparatively little water relative to older PLLA products.

How it works

The porous PDLLA microspheres are injected into the dermal or subdermal layers where they act as a scaffold, triggering a controlled fibroblast response. New type-I collagen grows around and inside each sponge-like particle over several months; the PDLLA is biocompatible and biodegradable and resorbs over time while the induced collagen persists for durable correction.

Composition

Poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) porous microspheres supplied as lyophilised powder for reconstitution. (Per-vial milligram content is not stated on the manufacturer page.)

Usage & handling

Reconstitute the lyophilised powder, which REGEN Biotech notes requires only a short reconstitution time and little water; hydrate per protocol before injecting into the deep dermis or subdermis. Gradual results begin around 4-6 weeks with peak effect at roughly 3-6 months and reported longevity of about 18-24 months; space repeat sessions per clinical response.
