Overview

Bellast is a monophasic, non-animal cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler range from Korean manufacturer Dongkook Pharmaceutical, produced by a double-polymerisation process. The Ultra line spans multiple gel firmnesses (Soft L, L and Plus), letting a clinic address superficial lines through to deeper volumising from one brand. Lidocaine-containing 'L' variants are formulated for injection comfort.

How it works

On implantation the cross-linked HA gel restores volume and binds tissue water, with the correction plane and indication governed by each variant's gel firmness (G-prime) and particle characteristics: softer grades for fine/superficial work and firmer grades for deep structural support and contour.

Indications

  • Superficial to moderate lines (softer grades)
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Lip augmentation and contour
  • Cheek and midface volume (firmer grades)
  • Chin and jaw contour (Plus)

Key features

  • Monophasic non-animal HA produced by double-polymerisation
  • Firmness tiers: Soft L / L / Plus
  • Lidocaine-containing 'L' options for injection comfort
  • Pre-filled single-use syringes
  • Single-brand range covering multiple treatment depths

Benefits

  • One portfolio spans fine-line to deep-volume indications, simplifying stock
  • Built-in lidocaine reduces need for separate anaesthetic and chair time
  • Cost-competitive Korean HA option to protect margin
  • Monophasic gel supports smooth, even extrusion

Composition

Non-animal, bacterial-fermentation cross-linked hyaluronic acid at approximately 20 mg/mL in a monophasic gel; lidocaine-containing variants add roughly 0.3% lidocaine. Firmness increases from Soft L to L to Plus.

Usage & handling

Store per the manufacturer label and use within the stated shelf life; select injection plane by variant (superficial for softer grades, deeper/subdermal for firmer grades); keep hyaluronidase on hand for vascular occlusion or correction. Verify current CE/KFDA registration for your market before ordering.
