Overview
Coretox is a botulinum toxin type A from Medytox Inc. formulated as a complexing-protein-free 'core' neurotoxin. It is manufactured without human serum albumin and without animal-derived materials, and is positioned as a purified toxin intended to minimise foreign-protein load. It is used for aesthetic and therapeutic muscle-relaxation indications.
How it works
The core 150 kDa type A neurotoxin cleaves SNAP-25 to block acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction, producing temporary, localised muscle relaxation. Removing complexing proteins does not change the fundamental mechanism.

Composition
