Overview

DHNP Bicolamin is a water-soluble B-vitamin injection from Daehan New Pharm of South Korea, based on cobalamin (vitamin B12) in the hydroxocobalamin form. It is used within B-vitamin and wellness infusion protocols to support energy, neurological function and general revitalisation. The product is supplied as single-use ampoules for clinician-administered IV or IM use.

How it works

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is an essential cofactor for methionine synthase and methylmalonyl-CoA mutase, enzymes central to DNA synthesis, red-cell formation and myelin maintenance. Adequate B12 supports normal haematopoiesis and nervous-system function, and repletion can address fatigue and neurological symptoms associated with deficiency. Parenteral delivery bypasses the intrinsic-factor absorption pathway required for oral B12 uptake.

Indications

  • Support of energy and reduction of fatigue in B12-related deficiency
  • Neurological and nervous-system support
  • Adjunct within wellness and revitalisation infusion menus
  • Vitamin B12 repletion in clinician-directed regimens
  • Support of general vitality programmes
