Overview
Huons Lidocaine HCl Injection is a sterile, amide-type local anaesthetic from Huons Co., Ltd. of South Korea, supplied in multi-dose vials. It delivers fast-acting, reliable local anaesthesia for infiltration, nerve-block, dental and aesthetic procedures. Huons has received US FDA ANDA approvals for its 1% and 2% lidocaine hydrochloride injection vials.
How it works
Lidocaine hydrochloride reversibly blocks voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve membranes, stopping pain-impulse conduction to produce local anaesthesia. Optional epinephrine-containing variants add vasoconstriction to slow absorption, prolong the block and reduce bleeding at the site.
