Overview
Linetox is a botulinum toxin type A injectable marketed as manufactured by Korea BNC (BNC Korea) and supplied in a 100-unit lyophilised vial. Despite the superficially similar name, verification did not link it to Hugel or Huons; it is a lesser-known Korean export brand attributed to Korea BNC in distributor listings. It is used for aesthetic reduction of facial wrinkles and for facial contouring.
How it works
Botulinum toxin type A blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction by cleaving the SNAP-25 protein required for synaptic vesicle fusion. This produces temporary, dose-dependent chemodenervation that relaxes the targeted muscle, softening dynamic wrinkles until nerve terminals regenerate over several months.
