Overview
Liporase is a lyophilised hyaluronidase enzyme from Korean manufacturer Daehan New Pharm, used to dissolve hyaluronic-acid dermal filler. Each vial is reconstituted with saline and injected to break down unwanted, misplaced or excess HA and, critically, to help manage vascular complications. It is an essential safety-stock item for any clinic offering HA fillers.
How it works
Hyaluronidase enzymatically depolymerises hyaluronic acid, rapidly breaking down HA filler so it can be reabsorbed. Because it clears HA that may be compressing or occluding a vessel, prompt injection of hyaluronidase is the first-line treatment for suspected vascular occlusion, in addition to correcting overcorrection, lumps and misplacement.
Indications
- Dissolution of misplaced or excess HA filler
- Correction of nodules, lumps and Tyndall effect

Usage & handling

Keep hyaluronidase stocked wherever HA filler is injected so it is immediately available for vascular-occlusion emergencies; store lyophilised vials per label.
