Overview

Maxiblue 5 Inj. is a Korean multi-trace-element injection combining five essential minerals - zinc, copper, manganese, selenium and chromium - for use during parenteral nutrition and micronutrient support. It is positioned for antioxidant and metabolic wellness protocols, delivering trace elements that serve as cofactors for antioxidant and metabolic enzymes. It is intended for clinician-supervised parenteral use.

How it works

The five trace elements act as enzymatic cofactors: selenium and manganese support antioxidant enzymes (glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase respectively), zinc and copper contribute to immune function and antioxidant defence, and chromium participates in glucose and insulin-related metabolism. Together they support cellular antioxidant capacity, enzyme activity and metabolic balance. Parenteral delivery ensures availability where dietary or oral intake is insufficient.

Indications

  • Trace-element supplementation during parenteral nutrition
  • Antioxidant and oxidative-stress support
  • Metabolic and glucose-metabolism support (chromium)
  • Immune-function support (zinc, copper)
  • General micronutrient and wellness protocols

Key features

  • Five-element antioxidant/trace-mineral combination (Zn, Cu, Mn, Se, Cr)
  • Marketed as a domestically produced Korean multi-mineral injection
  • 10 mL vial presentation
  • For parenteral nutrition and micronutrient support
  • Single SKU covering multiple essential trace elements

Benefits

  • Consolidates five trace elements into one product for menu simplicity
  • Supports antioxidant and metabolic wellness protocols
  • Reduces the number of separate mineral SKUs to stock
  • Fits alongside vitamin C and glutathione infusion offerings
  • Vial format integrates into compounded admixtures

Composition

Combination of five trace elements: zinc sulfate hydrate, cupric sulfate hydrate, manganese sulfate hydrate, selenious acid (selenium) and chromic chloride hydrate. Supplied as 10 mL vials. Per-element strengths should be confirmed against the current manufacturer label.

Usage & handling

For addition to parenteral nutrition admixtures and clinician-supervised infusion rather than undiluted bolus injection. Administer as part of a compounded nutritional solution with attention to cumulative trace-element intake from other sources to avoid accumulation (particularly manganese and copper in hepatic/cholestatic patients). Verify local regulatory registration and per-element dosing before clinical use.
