Overview
Medam (marketed as Hyafilia ME:DAM) is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler range from Korean manufacturer CHA Meditech, built on a gel structure combining stabilised and native HA (marketed as roughly 85% stabilised and 15% native) to blend monophasic and biphasic characteristics. HA concentration is 20 mg/mL and the line is graded as Light (mild, fine work), Prime (medium density) and Deep (high density, deep folds and contour). Lidocaine-containing 'Plus' presentations are also offered.
How it works
The cross-linked HA gel adds volume and binds water; the blend of stabilised and native HA plus gel firmness (G-prime) and particle size set the plane, with Light for superficial/fine correction, Prime for medium-depth work, and Deep for deep folds and structural contour.
Indications
- Fine lines and light lip volume (Light)
- Lip augmentation and chin correction (Prime)
- Nasolabial folds (Prime)
- Deep wrinkles and folds (Deep)
- Facial contour and volumising (Deep)
Key features
- Cross-linked HA at 20 mg/mL
- Hybrid mono/biphasic gel (~85% stabilised / 15% native)
- Three grades: Light / Prime / Deep
- Lidocaine-containing Plus options
- Pre-filled single-use syringes
Benefits
- Hybrid gel positioning blends cohesivity with lift
- Grade range covers fine lines to deep contour from one brand
- Lidocaine Plus options reduce separate anaesthetic and chair time
- Competitive Korean HA line from an established maker (CHA Meditech)
Composition
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 20 mg/mL in a hybrid gel (approximately 85% stabilised / 15% native) with combined mono/biphasic characteristics; lidocaine available in Plus versions.
