Overview
Nabota is a botulinum toxin type A developed by Daewoong Pharmaceutical of South Korea, produced with a proprietary high-purity manufacturing process. The same product is marketed as Jeuveau in the US and Canada and as Nuceiva in Europe and Australia. It is positioned as a highly purified, preservative-free aesthetic neurotoxin.
How it works
It acts as a type A botulinum toxin, cleaving SNAP-25 to inhibit acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction and temporarily relax the targeted muscle. The effect is dose-dependent and reversible.
