Overview

One Tox (Onetox) is a Korean botulinum toxin type A injectable marketed and exported by JDBIO Co., Ltd. of Seongnam, South Korea, supplied in 100- and 200-unit lyophilised vials. JDBIO is the associated Korean company/exporter; the underlying manufacturing plant is not independently detailed in available sources. It is used for temporary reduction of dynamic facial wrinkles such as glabellar lines.

How it works

Botulinum toxin type A blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction by cleaving the SNAP-25 protein required for synaptic vesicle fusion. This produces temporary, dose-dependent chemodenervation that relaxes the targeted muscle, softening dynamic wrinkles until nerve terminals regenerate over several months.
