Overview

Richesse PLA is a polylactic acid (PLA/PLLA) collagen biostimulator from the Korean aesthetics brand JDBIO, formulated with roughly 200 mg of PLA plus carboxymethylcellulose per vial. Marketed as a biodegradable stimulator for gradual volume enhancement, its effect is generated through neocollagenesis and is reported to last well over a year. It is intended for mid-face volumisation and treatment of laxity.

How it works

The PLA microparticles function as a resorbable scaffold that provokes a measured fibroblast response, stimulating new collagen deposition in the dermis. The carrier gel is absorbed while the newly formed collagen provides sustained, natural volume. Results appear gradually over the weeks following each session and accumulate across a treatment course.
